Description: Organized by the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute and the UofA’s Neuroscience Graduate Student Association, this event will provide the public with an overview of the current research that is taking place in the public and basic science domains surrounding the opioid crisis. It will also give a clinical perspective on opioid addiction, as well as a lived experience perspective on having loved ones addicted to opioids. This event is open to all researchers and members of the public.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served at the end of the event in the Katz atrium.
